📋 What We Need From You
This is a partnership, not a giveaway. Alpha 5 requires active participation:
Weekly Engagement (1 month minimum)
- 20-minute feedback call every week – Scheduled at your convenience, recorded for internal use
- Active product usage – Connect your email, use Iris for real work, report bugs immediately
- Feature testing – Test new capabilities and provide detailed feedback
Testimonial & Advocacy
- Testimonial by Month 2 – 3-5 sentence authentic review covering your experience
- Social sharing (optional) – Occasional posts about your experience (no forced marketing)
Honesty & Constructive Criticism
- Brutal transparency required – Tell us when something is bad. Sugarcoating helps no one.
- Solutions-oriented feedback – "This doesn't work" is good. "Here's why and here's what I'd try" is better.

📜 Program Terms
Duration & Commitment
Alpha 5 status is permanent once granted. Your lifetime access doesn't expire. However, the active collaboration phase (weekly calls) is 1 month minimum. After that, you're welcome to continue giving feedback at your own pace.
Confidentiality
You'll see features before public release. We ask that you:
- Don't share screenshots or specifics of unreleased features publicly
- Don't disclose our product roadmap to competitors
- Feel free to discuss your general experience and benefits
Removal Conditions
We reserve the right to end Alpha 5 status if:
- You miss 2+ consecutive weekly calls without notice
- You violate confidentiality terms
- You engage in abusive behavior toward our team
Publicity & Consent
We'll ask explicit permission before:
- Using your name, company, or likeness in marketing
- Publishing your testimonial or case study
- Featuring you in press releases or social media
You can opt out anytime. Opting out doesn't affect your Alpha 5 status.
Intellectual Property
Feedback you provide is non-proprietary. We own the product, but you own your testimonials and can reuse them. If you contribute actual code or designs, we'll discuss IP explicitly.
No Financial Compensation
Alpha 5 is a value exchange: your time and expertise for lifetime access and influence. There's no cash payment, equity, or revenue share. If we introduce a referral/affiliate program later, you're eligible like any other user.

How are Alpha 5 members selected?
We're looking for a diverse cohort across industries, email volumes, and use cases. We prioritize people who are thoughtful, engaged, and genuinely excited to shape a product. Being a "big name" doesn't hurt, but it's not required — we care more about your commitment and perspective.
What happens after 1 month?
Your lifetime access continues forever. The weekly calls end, but you're welcome to keep giving feedback via Slack or email. You'll retain your Alpha 5 badge and early access to new features.
Can I be anonymous as an Alpha 5 member?
Yes. Public recognition is optional. If you decline publicity consent, we won't use your name or company anywhere. You'll still get all other benefits.
What if I need to miss a week?
Life happens. Just give us 24 hours notice. We're flexible on occasional conflicts. It's extended, unexplained absences that are a problem.
Is this exclusive to the US?
No. Alpha 5 is global. Calls are scheduled at mutually convenient times (we'll work around time zones).
Can I refer someone else for Alpha 5?
Absolutely. Send them this link. We prioritize referred applicants from existing users.
